Why I Rebranded My Blog

And What I’m Building Instead as a Mom & Creator

Rebranding wasn’t part of the plan.

Honestly, I didn’t wake up one day thinking, “I need a new name, a new direction, a whole new identity.”

It happened because something felt… off.

And I couldn’t ignore it anymore.

When a Brand Stops Feeling Like You

For a while, I was building under a name that made sense at the time.

But as my life shifted—becoming a mom, navigating marriage, trying to build a business, and figuring out who I am in all of it—my brand didn’t quite evolve with me.

It felt like I had outgrown it.

And when something you’re building no longer reflects who you are, it becomes harder to show up consistently.

Why I Rebranded My Blog

Rebranding wasn’t about aesthetics.

It wasn’t about:

  • fonts
  • colors
  • trends

It was about alignment.

I needed something that reflected:

  • where I am in life right now
  • what I’m building
  • and who I’m speaking to

That’s how Blissfully Her came to life.

Why “Blissfully Her”

“Her” feels different.

It’s not just a label—it’s a direction.

It represents:

  • growth
  • identity
  • becoming

Not a perfect version of yourself…
but a version that is evolving, learning, and creating something meaningful.

As a mom and a creator, that felt more honest.

Building Something While Raising a Child

Rebranding didn’t happen in a quiet, focused environment.

It happened:

  • during nap times
  • between responsibilities
  • in moments where I was already stretched thin

Like I talked about in Trying to Build a Business While Raising a Toddler, nothing about this process was linear.

But that’s also what made it real.

The Practical Side of Rebranding

Let’s be honest—rebranding comes with decisions.

I had to:

  • change my domain
  • update my content
  • rethink my direction

And sometimes, it came down to simple things like cost.

Letting go of my old domain wasn’t easy—but it was necessary.

Because holding onto something just because you’ve already invested in it can keep you stuck longer than you realize.

What I Kept (And Why It Matters)

I didn’t delete everything.

I didn’t start from zero.

I kept:

  • my existing posts
  • my foundation
  • my voice

Because growth doesn’t mean erasing what came before—it means building on top of it.

What I’m Building Now

Blissfully Her isn’t just a blog.

It’s a space for:

  • real-life motherhood
  • building something from nothing
  • navigating life transitions

It’s for women who are:

  • evolving
  • creating
  • figuring it out as they go

Including me.

Final Thoughts

Rebranding wasn’t just about changing a name.

It was about choosing to build something that actually reflects my life.

Something honest.
Something evolving.
Something real.

And if you’re in a place where something no longer feels aligned—

You’re allowed to change it.

You’re allowed to start again.

You’re allowed to become her.
