robin skouteris’ 2017 mashup!

alright, i’m probably a little late to the game here being that it’s almost the end of january, but i love this mashup!

i’m a fan of mashups as it is, but i love that you get a taste of 2017’s most popular music in one song. i’m definitely going to save this for my daughter so she can listen to the top songs of her birth year. (even though she’ll probably roll her eyes and call me old!)

one line a day journals

i’m the type of person that would love to journal and document every day, but sometimes i can’t seem to find the time or i feel like my day was insignificant. anyone else?? introducing… one line a day journals!

they have probably been around for awhile, but i have never heard about these until i came across this post by becca.

each page has a date on top and space for five lines (one line for each year for 5 years). it would be so interesting to read back through every year!

i think i want to get this one, but here are a few other contenders!

“when does breastfeeding get easier” | paper heart family

“when does breastfeeding get easier!?” was one of what felt like thousands of question that i googled in the beginning months of nursing my daughter. brenda created a post to answer just that with input from several moms, including myself! this is a must-read for new or expecting moms who are seeking words of encouragement about breastfeeding.

7 podcasts every ambitious blogger will love | sophie vl

the one strategy you need to conquer 2018 | blissfully her

have you set your resolutions for 2018 yet? how many years in a row have you recycled those same goals? what is it that's holding you back? it's easy to say, "i want to lose weight" or "i want to get out of debt" and we know in our minds how to accomplish it. "i will lose weight by eating healthy and exercising." "i will pay off my credit card bills." okay, but how are you doing to do that? the most important part of goal-setting is to create an actionable plan. you have to make sure your goal is realistic, measurable and can be completed within a practical time frame. so how do you do that? find out over at blissfully her!| via @blissfullyher

a little self-promotion here! it may already be 19 days into the new year, but it’s never too late to start a new goal (or revamp an old one)! check out my post making your goals SMART so that you can finally achieve that one thing you’ve been putting off for so long!

and that’s it for this friday! what good stuff did you find this week? is there something you think i should include next friday? e-mail me!

Wow! My son would love the Land of Nod collection. He especially loves letters and numbers so this is right up his alley. I’ll have to check them out. The one line a day journal is something I hadn’t heard of before. What an interesting concept!
